The DVOMB has created a new committee, the Juvenile Literature Review Committee. This Committee will be reviewing the literature on juveniles involved with domestic violence. The Committee will ultimately make recommendations to the full DVOMB related to suggested next steps and whether to gather data on the deed for creating guidelines for a curriculum for working with juveniles.
Please note the current purpose of this committee is not to create standards for juvenile treatment. This is an exploratory committee to begin looking at research for this population.
This committee is open to all who are interested. As always we seek multidisciplinary representation such as; victim services, treatment victim advocates, treatment providers, probation, judges, defense attorneys, prosecutors, child welfare representation, and others.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, please respond to Cheryl Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your contact information so that you can be added to the Juvenile Literature Review Committee email grouping.
Feel free to forward this email to others who may be interested in this work.
